Course Description
This Emergency Responder First Aid course will provide the attendee with knowledge of basic life support skills. Attendees will be shown how to cope should they be faced with a life threatening first aid emergency. This course is ideal as an introduction to First Aid or as an annual update. The Emergency Responder First Aid course does not meet the requirements laid down by the Health and Safety Executive for the Appointed Person in the Workplace certificate.

- Scene Assessment
- Activating the Emergency Services
- The Unconscious Casualty Management (Primary & Secondary Survey)
- Safe Airway Position (Recovery Position)
- Choking (Adult)
- Bleeding & Shock
- CPR Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (Adult)
Course Assessment
This course is subject to ongoing assessment by the Instructor throughout the course. There is no final assessment. The Instructor observes attendees practice sessions as the training progresses to ensure the required level of understanding.
Course Certification
All successful attendees will be awarded a certificate that is valid for three years.

On-site courses start from £360.00 for up to and including 16 students.
