Course Description
This Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Users course is to equip the attendee with all the skills and knowledge required to recognise the need for using the AED and how to use this life saving piece of equipment in an emergency. Please note to be eligible to attend the course students need to have a minimum of a valid Basic Life Support certificate. If this is not the case we a can offer this course combined with Basic Life Support training over 1 Day (6 hours).

- Basic Life Support Assessment
- Maintenance & Care of the AED
- Identification of when the AED should be used
- How to use the AED
- Why & How the AED has a positive effect
Course Assessment
This course is subject to ongoing assessment by the Instructor throughout the course. There is no final assessment. The Instructor observes attendees practice sessions as the training progresses to ensure the required level of understanding.
Course Certification
All successful attendees will be awarded a certificate that will be valid for twelve months.

On-site courses start from £310.00 for up to and including 6 students.
