ITC Paediatric First Aid Annual Update for Childcare Practioners (3 Hours) EYFS Guidance
Course Overview
ITC Paediatric First Aid Annual Update for Childcare Practioners (3 Hours) EYFS Guidance
This course has been designed for those who work professionally with children under the age of puberty. Changes to the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage in March 2017, now state that: " Providers should consider whether Paediatric First Aiders need to undertake Annual Refresher training during any three year certification period, to help maintain basic skills, and to keep up to date with any changes to Paediatic First Aid procedures.
This course is primarily for those who work under the Ofsted/EYFS guidedance, and already hold a valid qualification in either the Emergency Paediatric or Full Paediatric First Aid qualification that is Ofsted/EYFS Compliant.
Please note this qualification does not replace the need to complete another Emergency Paediatric or Full Paediatirc First Aid qualification every 3 years. This course is just designed to compliment and update previous training.
If you require the Full Paediatric First Aid qualification look for the ITC Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) qualification on our website.
