Forest Schools First Aid Courses
2nd Chance First Aid’s range of Forest Schools First Aid courses are designed to provide Forest Schools Practitioners with all the skills needed to to provide first aid in the outdoors environment. The Forest Schools First Aid courses are also highly suited to anybody who is in charge of children outdoors and may need to have first aid skills
The Forest Schools First Aid courses are all FSA compliant and meet all the IOL Band 3 requirements to teach children in the outdoor Forest Schools environment.
Below are all our upcoming Forest Schools First Aid courses at our Dursley base in Gloucestershire, or the Robinswood Hill Country Park near Gloucester.

What Are Forest Schools First Aid Courses?
Forest Schools First Aid courses are designed to teach Forest Schools Practitioners first aid for children in the Forest Schools environment. The Forest Schools First Aid courses meet all the IOL Band 3 requirements to teach children in the outdoor Forest Schools environment and are FSA compliant. The course also meets all of the requirements for our Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) + 12 Hours course, which is Ofsted/EYFS Compliant. So for an extra £18 per person we can offer both qualifications at the same time.
Why Attend A Forest Schools First Aid Course?
There are many reasons why you might want to attend a Forest Schools First Aid course with us in Gloucestershire. Typical reasons for learning first aid skills in the Forest Schools environment include:
- You are a Forest Schools Practitioner and need to have first aid skills for emergency situations during your work.
- You work, or are regularly active, outside and want to learn first aid skills to deal with any accidents or injuries in the outdoors environment.
Who Needs To Attend A Forest Schools First Aid Course?
Anyone working outdoors, especially Forest Schools practitioners, should attend the Forest Schools First Aid course in order to learn first aid skills specifically for the outdoor environment where help may be a minimum of 30 minutes away.
